Is it really free to post?
Yes. No subscription, no per-post fee, no listing fee. You only pay the appearance fee you set when a covering attorney completes the hearing. If no one claims your request, you pay nothing.
How does CoverageCobra make money?
We take a 20% commission from the covering attorney's earnings — only when work is completed. If no hearing happens, no one pays anything to anyone.
Who covers my hearings?
Bar-verified attorneys who practice in the relevant jurisdiction and have signed up to offer coverage. You see their profile, jurisdictions, experience, and reviews before you confirm.
What if the covering attorney doesn't show up?
Stripe escrow means your payment isn't released until the GPS check-in confirms they were at the courthouse. If they no-show, you're fully refunded — and they may be removed from the platform.
Are my case details private?
Your post is anonymous by default. Case number, client name, and identifying details stay hidden until you confirm a match. After that, they're shared only with the covering attorney, encrypted in transit.
Do firms get special accounts?
