How does payment work?
When you confirm a coverage attorney, your payment is charged via Stripe and held in escrow. Once the hearing is completed, funds are released to the covering attorney minus a $10 platform fee.
When do I get paid as a covering attorney?
Funds transfer to your Stripe Connect account as soon as the requesting attorney marks the hearing complete. Stripe typically deposits to your bank within 2-3 business days.
What if the hearing is cancelled?
If you cancel before the hearing, the payment is fully refunded to the requesting attorney. If the hearing didn't happen due to court reasons (continuance, etc.), both parties can agree to keep the payment or refund.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No subscription for solo attorneys. Firms can optionally upgrade to Starter ($99/mo) or Pro ($299/mo) plans for volume discounts and multi-user management.
